- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We had to take our 12 year old golden retriever in. They discussed our options before, with my dad, myself, and my brother (my brother and I sobbing). We decided we would let them "take care of her" (their original words) as it may be too hard to take her body from the office afterwards. So everything went ok (as ok as possible in that situation), until as we were leaving one of the girls said "we talked before, right, we're just going to dispose of her?" DISPOSE of?? I was livid. We left but I couldn't get over the mental picture that girl had painted of them tossing our beloved family member in the trash to DISPOSE of her. So we went back and got her to bury her properly with some respect. Luckily I no longer live in town and don't have to opt to change vets. When I do have my younger dog in town we go to State Ave vet. Because they don't want to dispose of my family members. This was a horrible experience piled on top of an already terrible day and they made it so so much worse. I'd never recommend them for so much as a hamster.December 15, 2016by Paige Nash
